IAM STP V2 User Guide


Single Touch Payroll (STP) in GovReports Interactive Accounts Manager (IAM) is a complete payroll and lodgment solution that enables users to create pay runs and lodge STP payroll events directly with the ATO, either via manual entry of payroll data or import from a CSV file or from other software.

GovReports STP V2 meets the ATO reporting details required from 1 January 2022. Phase 2 allows employers to report to multiple government agencies via STP using standardised categories, making it easier for employees to interact with Services Australia and ensuring accuracy of data provided to the agency.

This IAM STP V2 User Guide covers all user functions available within IAM STP V2 for business owners and registered agents who use IAM within GovReports.

IAM STP V2 New Version

In GovReports IAM STP Reporting Module, the software has been updated for all clients to STP V2. There is no requirement to opt in to Version 2, it has been automatically upgraded.

In IAM STP V2, the Single Touch Payroll reporting is generated directly from the pay run, therefore the pay run must meet the ATO V2 requirements.

IAM STP V2 pay runs now have all the standardised ATO reporting fields included.
